David Merrill Harvey Sr. was born in Brattleboro, VT on November 06, 1948. David passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 63 on Wednesday July 25, 2012 at 10:55pm following a courageous battle with cancer. David was well loved and will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Harvey family at this most difficult time that you're all going through. There's a new angel looking down on you. He will protect and watch over all of you always. The wedding picture is totally adorable. One memory of many.

Dear Bonnie and Cody, I was so saddened to read about David's passing. I had not known he was ill and it was a shock. I have been thinking about you both frequently and feel confident that you will find strength from each other to get through this very difficult time. My sympathy goes out to you both. You are a constant reminder of the kindness and humor I want in my life. I love you so much and I always will. Looking at the gallery of old photos of you and your family, listening to some of your favorite tunes, and it brings everything to the surface that you are no longer with us. How can it be 5 years, miss you as much today as the first day that you left us. David, you will always be in my heart, a great brother-in-law passed too soon.
